Our names are Michelle and Katrina. We are university students who decided to put our efforts into raising money to build a water and sanitation for a community. The total cost is $1,000. This sum of money will provide wells, clean water and latrines for an entire community. We feel that if we were to get a dollar from every person we knew - we could achieve this goal and give the gift of clean water. Clean water, to us is taken for granted and shouldn't be, especially when 1.1 billion people do not have access to clean water, and here we are buying bottled water.
